Context

when? where? who? why?

In 2020, a group of french student create an app allowing to musicians doing road trips to connect their music library in order to find people, places et and music structures along his way when touring. The purpose of the app is to fight against loneliss during musicians road trips and create rare, unique sharing moments

Our main

for whom?

The app is created for any musician who would like to meet other musicians or random people who share the same musical taste. This meetings will occur depending on the volontee of the musician on his way from a point A to a point B. The point A being his starting position and the point B his final destination.

What does streameet offer ?

what? how?

The key words of our app are summed up by its name STREAMEET which is basically a mix of Stream and Meet. The concept is simple. Any musician who has a subscribing to a streaming platform can use the app. Starting from that point, the app will analyze the music library of th users in the order to make him propositions that correspond to his musical preferences. This propositions are suggestions of people who have the same preferences with who the user can enter in contact to eventually meet them. The other suggestions concern places or activities that fit with the musical library. If the artist's library is mainly filled with country music, then a "Ranch" on his road could be one the several places to visit proposed by the app. On an other hand, the meeting with another person or group of people is made to encourage them to share a musical moment. Either by listening to music or playing it in group.

Project 2: iRealStudioPro

Context

The project of iRealStudioPro will be inicially lunched by the end of the year 2019 in the business school EM LYON . This project - our project- is a collaboration between five students from this school . The aim is to accompany the creation of muscians. The goal is to accompany the musician and his creations during his journey, whether it is these improvisations or simply the scores he shapes... In fact, the works of a musician who has travelled the world deserve to be heard because they convey emotions that sometimes escape him as he goes along. Another goal that is proving to be our main long-term goal is to give musicians more visibility. Indeed, it is very difficult to share your music: you encounter selective studios, you encounter youtube that drowns what you do... With iRealStudio pro, the musician will have access to a mobile studio in the phone and a community that will be receptive to his creations

Target

for whom?

The application is certainly intended for musicians but also for DJs who are more and more numerous to want to create a youtube channel dedicated to their songs. Moreover, when we talk about musicians, we are talking about jazz musicians, singers, rappers,,those who play rock, those who play alone or with a group, etc..

Service offered

what? how?

The application has two functions. The first, the machine learning which aims to play the rhythms of all the scores that can be found in what is called a jazz book or a classical collection. From then on, the musician is accompanied. All he has to do now is to play a melody either he has already invented , or he improvises at the moment. The second function is the recording of songs or pieces. The musician will be able to share them on a forum in which he will receive feedback in real time. Moreover, he will also be able to draw inspiration from other pieces to embellish his own creations.
